::I came to this bank 5 times within 3 weeks trying to open an account. First, they needed a tax stamp on the apartment lease agreement. After that, a letter of recommendation and an account statement from the previous bank (I had to transfer and spend $ 200 on the transfer). Then, when it seemed that all the documents were collected - they needed the last documents - a tax certificate from Russia (it also had to be translated) And when I bring them this last certificate, it turns out that they cannot find the entire package of other documents (the account statement and the letter from the bank, I gave them the originals - because they are not needed anywhere else). I hate this bank and would not recommend anyone to try to open an account with them.

::While the teller was helpful the desk people were not impressive. Coming from another country we presumed they would call us to the desk when they were ready so we stood there waiting like idiots and a very rude Cypriot woman pushed ahead of us and approached the desk without being called. That’s how you have to be in cyprus to get anything done … rude and pushy. Don’t wait for them to call you because they won’t. Also Very expensive bank and too many fees.

::The bank works only in the morning, which is terrible. Staff are very slow, takes more than a week just to open an account even after explained the urgency. And I have to chase them to check what`s going on, no contact from their side. Absolutely negative experience.
