::Best hosts ever! So friendly and accommodating. Very knowledgeable about the area and helpful. The place is in a good central location to go to the various northern Cyprus cities and also a few minutes walk into the border crossing to southern Cyprus. The rooms were very clean and in a beautiful historical building that has been renovated in a creative way. Breakfast was good everyday. Wish we had more time.

::Bastion Inn is a very warm, friendly and cozy boutique hotel with great and personable proprietors who provide not only great service but also guidance to the best places to visit, eat and drink in the old city.

::Fantastic place. Highly recommend. Beautiful historic building still owned by the family that built it. Thoughtfully renovated very recently. It is tastefully decorated and very cool. Very kind and helpful owners, as well as a great breakfast. Great little courtyard as well. Enjoy!

::Very clean. Friendly. Owner pays attention to detail so very welcoming and a nice place to stay. Very helpful with local knowledge. An easy walk from South Nicosia, don't forget to download offline maps and disable roaming to avoid high charges. Owner provides good free Internet. Nice lounge for guests and a huge breakfast. The place is very traditional, and very personal as they currently only have two rooms Well recommended.

::We absolutely loved Bastion Inn - the building itself, the hosts Burc and Mel, the breakfast and the location. It was beautiful, idyllic and just so relaxing. Burc and Mel took the time to speak to us and find out what we wanted to do and made some really great recommendations. It was really nice to have hosts who spent time with us chatting when we arrived to get to know us and also share some of the history of themselves, their hotel and the area - and Cyprus in general. We were also greeted with lovely homemade lemonade which was a welcome relief after our journey ! The hotel itself is beautifully restored and very small with only two rooms. We had the pomegranate room which looked out into the beautiful garden. Great comfy bed and lovely shower. We had a delicious home made breakfast each day which was divine and we got to taste some local homemade jams such as quince and Hawthorne. Eggs were cooked to our preference with halloumi - and served along side hot bread, cheeses, tomato and cucumber, followed by fresh fruit. It was so nice to sit in the garden to eat and then speak with Burc and Mel about our plans. They advised us of where to go in Nicosia - to see and eat and all recommendations were excellent. They also advised that we visit Girne via bus which was a lovely half day trip. All in all it was fantastic - our favourite hotel we’ve visited - so relaxing, so quiet, so calm, so friendly. We would 100 % recommend to anyone visiting north Nicosia for an authentic and hospitable stay - a home from home ! We will be back - and we will tell all of our friends and family to visit ! Thank you so much Burc and Mel Love from Charlotte and Tom
