Unfortunately, our stay at the hotel was terrible. The problems started already at check-in, when it turned out that the hotel had lost our reservation. While booking the room, we were in constant contact with the hotel and sent all the required documents the hotel asked for to complete it - including our data and card number to secure payment. The lady at the front desk, however, said that it was not a matter of the hotel, because the reservation was not completed (then what else were we supposed to do?) and that we were lucky that they had a free room. As it turned out - it was not luck. The first night at the hotel, when the girlfriend went to take a shower a cockroach came out of the drain. This was not a big problem, as we came from a country where cockroaches on the streets are quite a problem (but of course on the streets - not inside houses or hotels!). I just killed it. The next day we reported it to the front desk. The elderly receptionist seemed amused by this and said nothing. When we returned to the room we found that another cockroach had come out of the drain. So we went back to the reception desk and said that there was another one. The senior receptionist continued to be amused and only when we asked him to do something did he say he would come and do something about it. He came with some spray and sprayed the bathroom. He said that would solve the problem. When we asked if he was sure, he didn't answer anything and just left the room. At the same time, he did not say what kind of spray it was and whether it was harmful and whether it was better to leave the room. However, we hoped that this would solve the problem. Unfortunately, it did not solve it and a cockroach came out of the drain again. Again we reported it to the receptionist, who this time did not even come personally to solve the problem, but sent a cleaning lady who killed the cockroach. However, after a while another cockroach came out. This was too much and we demanded a change of room. The senior receptionist stated that there was no other room for us and he did not care. He also stated that if we didn't like it we could change hotels. The room was only found when I started arguing with him. We were supposed to spend two more nights at the hotel. However, we were immediately informed that it was a room for one only and we were to return to our old room with cockroaches (!) the next day. Fortunately, we were in a business meeting and our hosts from Cyprus helped us solve the problem and called the hotel manager. However, it was problematic at first, because the manager said that cockroaches are a normal issue here. In my opinion, they are maybe normal as you don't care about cleanliness, because we had previously spent a few days in Larnaca in a hostel that didn't have this problem. Also, I can't imagine a situation where a senior receptionist or manager had cockroaches in the house and just pounced on it and left them. So the next morning we had to change rooms again, but not to the previous one, but to another room. The hotel thought that the solution to the problem would be to leave us slippers, fruit and two small bottles of cheap wine (2x187ml). It was only on the last morning that we heard a word of apology from the young receptionist. By the way, he was very nice and was the first person who realistically wanted to solve the problem and felt any responsibility. In addition also in every room something was wrong, such as not working power outlet or shower door not touching. Unfortunately, I can certainly advise against this hotel.

I was there for a meeting so can only comment on the conference facilities, which were great. Nice, fully functional space with everything you'd expect. There were dedicated areas for break-outs and good tea/coffee/snack facilities. Buffet lunch in the hotel restaurant was also very nice.

It was very clean and nice hotel. Also the breakfast and lunch was good. The location is good, not more than 5 minutes from the central Nikosia bus station.
