  When I tried to withdraw my own funds through the ATM of this bank, the ATM immediately "swallowed" my card. The next day, when I went to this branch, the bank employees, without explaining the reason for this incident, advised me to contact my bank branch and get a new card... well, it’s okay that the nearest branch is 1500 km from Cyprus and I just came on vacation . As they said - this is the policy of their bank!

  So Bank of Cyprus has decided to increase their fees and charges on current accounts from 2021 and go the way of the dodo. May the exodus of customers begin. Those who have money will be the first to leave BoC. Online banks like N26 will be the next big thing.
