::Kyrenia Palace Boutique Hotel We found the hotel on-line and were impressed by the photos but were not able to book as the website required a bank transfer and we were making the booking, at the last minute, while in Cyprus without access to our bank. After this failure we contacted the hotel, explained our situation, and Celine confirmed that a room was reserved for us and we could pay on arrival. We travelled to Kyrenia/Girne during a thunderstorm along flooded roads then experienced the sat-nav directing us the wrong way down a one way street! After finding a parking space we walked through the streets to find the hotel and were welcomed by Juve. Seeing how stressed we were after our journey she sat us down and made coffees for us then walked with us through the “streets” (approach to the hotel more like a footpath) to show us the way to the hotel by car negotiating the one way system. The warmth of that welcome continued with all the staff greeting us with a smile as we entered or left the hotel. We were really impressed with the hotel, it lived up to the images shown on line, an historic house that had been renovated and furnished retaining all the character but with every modern convenience. Its location also lived up to the description, in the heart of the old town next door to the Aga Cafer Pasha mosque and a view from our balcony to the castle and out to sea, we could even see masts of ships anchored in the harbour just one street away. Unfortunately the restaurant had closed during Covid restrictions and had not reopened but we were given excellent recommendations for where to eat at night. Breakfast was a feast, more like breakfast and lunch combined, a meze of savoury and sweet delights. Fadiah’s freshly made savouries and fresh baked cakes were a real treat each morning and probably contributed to our weight gain, but well worth it. Our farewell after our short stay, three nights, was just as heart warming as our welcome and we hope to return one day.

::A very charming hotel in the heart of Kyrenia port. Amazing location, but It wasn’t the cleanest hotel. I found some hairs in the bathroom. The breakfast is amazing

::Such a great, comfy and cosy hotel. The rooms are big, clean and comfortably furnished. The staff is lovely and the breakfast is the best we have ever had in a Girne hotel. We felt very comfortable. Next time we are in Kyrenia we will definitely stay here again. Absolutely recommendable!

::Absolutely best and friendly hotel owners. I like them so much. They are welcome to visit us at anytime. It was my such a pleasure to meet them and know better. Building is historical and interesting. Rooms are big, with ac and tv. A lot of unique decorations and so amazing furniture. Can't find it anywhere else. Great experience and I come back.
