  Great restaurant with fresh fish, cooked to perfection. We have dined in and also tried the take-away service. Huge portions and not very expensive.

  Lovely casual fish restaurant with great service and reasonably priced overall. We were selective on what we had, grilled calamari and a nice large Vlaxos (fresh fish) The fresh fish is slightly on the high price side, but it's perfectly cooked and worth it for the quality. Could do with a little background music, but overall good experience

  Good fish meze. An old time classic for fish n Nicosia. Great for family gatherings. Expensive for price/kg.

  This is an excellent restaurant. We chose fish meze. The octopus and cuttle fish were the best I have ever tasted, especially in terms of softness. The swordfish, prawns and salad were excellent. Taramosalata was good. I was disappointed with the whitebait and the red mullet was way too small to serve. The service was also good.

  If it’s fish you want and you are in Nicosia (Strovolos), then Family best is the best Place for you! They have a vast variety of fish dishes including “Fish Meze”at reasonable prices for Cyprus. It has to be said that although Cyprus is an island with some of the most beautiful waters in the Mediterranean, fish is very expensive compared to other European locations! Family nest is a family run “shabby chic” style restaurant, in a lovely location with lots of parking. Great for parties or for a romantic night out. The premises are clean, including the toilets and although you can smell the delicious and fresh fish they cook, you won’t go home with a fishy smell on your clothes. The staff are friendly, courteous, polite and helpful and like most other eating places in Cyprus, the menu is in Greek & English. Try it out, you won’t be disappointed.
