  This is, bar none, the best place to vacation in Cyprus. We can't afford the rooms during the high season, but the place is even better when it's not swamped. The rooms are simply amazing, the staff is a professional and personal delight, the food is great, and the views... oh the views. The spa and gym are top notch as well. Some days you'll compete with entitled Russians for loungers, or better retirement age oligarchs and their barely legal girlfriends, but those days are rare in the off season. In short, this is the place to go if you want luxury (just wait until you see the bathrooms, amazing) resort feeling and a great location to boot.

  An outstanding hotel for several reasons - exceptional and friendly service, beautiful location and stunning gardens. The food is consistently of a high standard and the rooms are spacious and well designed. The hotel also has the most beautiful swimming pool of any hotel I have stayed (it actually it has two pools). I will certainly be visiting again. A real treat!

  I really love the Columbia beach resort, 2 lovely pools, good breakfasts and nice staff. Access to the sea is also an added bonus. The only areas to improve would be more comfortable mattresses and to also heat the main pool from October onwards. Otherwise an excellent hotel.

  We stayed at the Columbia Beach Resort for just under three weeks in September and it went straight onto our (very short) return to list. The suites are luxurious, the resort is beautiful and superbly maintained - not a weed in the grounds and the 'streets' are kept well swept and the pools are lovely. The three restaurants are different and each is excellent. Our favourite became Cape Aspero, wonderful food and amazing staff - if you are feeling extravagant have the Tomahawk Steak, probably the best steak we have ever had (I am very fussy about steak), and beautifully cooked. All of the staff were fantastic but Gianfranco, who also gave us lots of tips about where to go and what was good, Ionna and Anna stood out! Bacchus, the fine dining restaurant, held its own against any fine dining restaurant we have been in, both for quality of food and excellent service. We thoroughly enjoyed treating ourselves to a couple of meals there during our stay. Breakfasts were amazing, covering everything you could possibly want, beautifully presented and cooked. Stelios and Andreas always made Breakfast an experience, with their attentiveness and helpfulness. The Poseidon Beach Bar became a firm favourite of ours, with Panikos making our visits there absolutely memorable. We would also recommend Str-eats on Monday nights, great food in wonderful surroundings. Christos at the pool was lovely, friendly and helpful always and we looked forward to seeing him there. The housekeeping was second to none, the room and terrace were always spotless with bedding and towels changed very regularly, and we loved the Molton Brown toiletries. Khamelia was particularly lovely, nothing was too much trouble. The resort is also ideally situated for off-site dining, with several good alternatives a few minutes' walk away. We particularly enjoyed Kastros. All in all, wonderful surroundings, wonderful staff - we have mentioned some that stood out, but all the staff were friendly and helpful, and superb food. The feeling across the resort was that nothing was too much trouble, and any request was met with pleasantness and helpfulness without fail. Thank you all for a magical stay, we will return!

  The resort was amazing! We got there and were surprised the staff are taking care of everything - checking us in easily while we get free juice at the bar, taking our suitcase and eventually us, to our room and so on. Our room got cleaned twice a day, and there was literally not a slight problem in our room or in any of the facilities during our stay. We got amazing breakfasts, great time at the pool and the beach. A perfect place to spend some cheerful chill days, highly recommended.
