::This restaurant appears to have closed, we visited during the stated opening hours in February 2023 and found no sign, no restaurant, no people?

::If there were 0 stars I would give, I went inside after hearing good reviews and googling that he’s a culinary teacher and famous chef however I was very disappointed, the only good thing maybe is that the service time is okay other then that the whole experience was awful, Not even one smile or one welcoming comment, the meat was rare and tasteless not even some salt and pepper which are the basics. Very disappointed about the customer service as well, although the quality is there but it’s a shame that the chef has lost his touch

::We had very high expectations from this restaurant, however the chef was very unwelcoming although he was very polite towards other customers whom we could see were visiting tourists. Regarding food, the mezze was okay however the meat was not good.

::Unfortunately we had very unpleasant experience with the chef and the food. We called and booked our table for the Wednesday night but when we arrived to the restaurant, chef told us Thursday would have been better even he said Wednesday is fine on the phone. But he told us we can sit. He looked very unhappy with our arrival even we booked it for the same night and we felt very unwelcomed by the chef. His face turned very sour. He brought us meze and we were looking forward to try his food and we had very high expectations from the chef Zihni after seeing all his rewards on the wall. But the food was very avarage. Meat was tough wasn't cooked enough nothing was great. It felt like I am eating at an average restaurant and we felt very disappointed. He was very smiley towards the other customers except us! And we do not see a reason why he was so unwelcoming towards us.

::Enjoying traditional Cypriot cuisine N35°10.832' E33°21.682' In November 2021, we entered an empty elegant dining room in a former mansion of a wealthy Armenian in the Arabahmet quarter on the Turkish-Cypriot side of Nicosia. Not knowing if the restaurant was already closed, we looked around and found evidence of another dinner guest that evening. Fortunately, chef Zihni Tüksel showed up, welcomed us and escorted us to our table in the empty dining room. He told us that a group of local politicians was dining in the upstairs dining room and that he could prepare a set menu of meze for us. We smiled and nodded. Soon our table was bombarded with small meze dishes, bread and drinks. This bombardment set off an explosion of delicate flavours. The hummus was excellent, olives very tasty, great kebab skewers. Everything was perfect, with a good matching wine. With a tasty dessert, we ended a great delicious traditional Cypriot diner. We paid ₺ 450 for 2 persons. We had a nice conversation with chef Zihni Tüksel, a senior lecturer in gastronomy at the European University of Lefke and a judge for the Cooks and Chefs Federation of Turkey. Boghjalian Konak Restaurant serves a delicious Cypriot diner. Highly recommended.
