  If you have local friends when you visit Cyprus you will be lucky to eat in this wonderful taverna.. local specialties, mezedes (grilled haloumi and mushrooms, snails, seftalia, etc.) keep coming tastier and tastier and the environment so beautiful, it will make a night you wont forget.. place was packed with locals and foreigners even in a weekday, which makes it necessary to book ahead.. don't miss this taverna in Lefkosia, Cyprus..

  I wanted to have traditional Cypriot mezze and the Plaka Tavern delivered. The food is plentiful and delicious and we sat outside in a lovely courtyard. Prices also very reasonable, bill was around 70 euros for 2 including dessert and good bottle of wine. Would definitely recommend.

  Quick replies on the Google chat, and welcoming. However, the standout was the food. Only doing Mezze at the moment, but that wasn't an issue. The food was amazing, and seemingly never ending. When we finally couldn't take any more, fruit platters came out! For 6 of us, with an alcoholic drink, it cost €131. Really really recommended.

  The place is unique So nice in an old street in engomi The outdoor setup is very nice and the indoor also The food is top and the meze is so rich Very recommended

  Amazing family owned pearl! My fiancé cried over their Mezze, he loved it so much. If you are looking for Greek traditional food with a beautiful atmosphere, and reasonable priced, this is the place for you!
