  Lidl is Lidl is Lidl. It's convenient, and has parking, bread, milk, meat, fruit and veg...and the all important central aisle. I heard from a UK employee that they only ever open 2 tills max to save on costs...or is this just an urban myth?? I've only given 4 * because some of the shelves are empty...not enough staff to keep up?? But very useful to a visitor to Cyprus buying essentials, we know the store, it's like our own local one. (Except that the staff are friendlier in Cyprus...and for that I've upped it to 5*)

  Good size store, easy to find right on the main road opposite the Crowne plaza hotel. Plenty of everything plus quite a bit of the middle of Lidl stuff. The buses stop here so it's handy if you don't have a car . Take a euro coin to unlock a trolley. Strangely they don't have any baskets for small purchases so you're stumped if you don't have cash for the trolley. I improvised by putting things in the plastic bags they have at the fruit and vegetable section, but that only works with smaller items and is limited by what you can carry!

  Not very big, but it's great if you need to buy something for the beach
