  Walked in for a quick bite for lunch. Very tasty food all around and very friendly and accommodating staff. Would recomend to anyone in the area.

  We visited Franx on the back of the other reviews but sadly my experience didn’t live up to it. Yes the staff were lovely and accommodating which made it ok but we ordered a pizza which most definitely tasted like a frozen base as it was dry and the sauce was dry and covered up with tonnes of cheese, I ordered chicken wings which looked microwaved and had been drowned in sauce which tasted awful and then a pork kebab as it was on special, this was very pink, bland and not the what I’d expect as a local dish. I think of you are offering food nowadays you need to be cooking fresh and it wasn’t as it all came out too fast. Needless to say we didn’t finish and left as soon as we could. My son is a pizza conniseur and I am a wing addict so we both know what they need to be like. We both ate what we could of of politeness but we Wouldn’t recommend for food but only for drinks ok.

  Lovely pub with great range of food options and alcohol. The hosts could not have been more welcoming, accommodating and friendly. Would highly recommend!

  Stayed in the hotel opposite but came here most nights. Beer and food is good and reasonably priced with a nice friendly atmosphere.
