  A family restaurant, a lot of locals, which confirms the high level of the place. A good place to get to know Cypriot cuisine. I recommend grandma's minced meatballs!

  Poor service, very average souvlaki and unexpectedly pricey dinner for this kind of restaurants :( The staff didn't give us the menu so we were unpleasantly surprised with the final bill. We also had to wait to be served f o r e v e r. The meat was overcooked and dry. The atmosphere and furniture are 3 of 5. Brrr. It's definitely a no go for me.

  Efthimis Souvlakia is a very popular place to get a traditional Cypriot souvlaki In an open pita. You have the choice of meat that will hero your pita. You can choice from chicken, pork, sheftakies (Cypriot pork sausage), keftethes (Cyprus meatballs) or you can order a mix pita which has a bit of everything in it. Each pita also famously includes, tomato, cucumber, parsley and diced onion. Be prepared to wait at least 20+ minutes from the time you order. Most people call and order ahead so they won’t have to wait as long. It is definitely worth the wait.

  Food was amazing, as always and can’t fault it. Good souvlakia you won’t be disappointed. Many business are modernising and Efthimis is the same as always (which for me is a plus). The only thing is that we were two of us, ordered Souvlakia and waited for longer than we should have done (+1hr). Many people seemed to be calling and ordering their food in advance and getting their food before us. Walking in, sitting down and being given their food.

  Probably one of the best souvlaki I’ve ever eaten in my life. They have a normal, medium, large and turbo pitta. You should try the turbo one. Totally recommended!
