Overall hotel service and organization is excellent. Breakfast is really good, position of the hotel is great if you would like to be close but not in the city center. Special praise for hotel staff.

Had an amazing stay at the Alion Beach Hotel, the staff were amazing, the food at The Deck restaurant was fantastic and the beach and views were breathtaking! The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because the rooms are very dated and really in need of upgrading, for a 5 star hotel and rate charged for the room the standard is below what it should be. Having said that I didn’t spent a huge amount of time in my room but it’s definitely something the owners should address.

Just had one of the best holidays at Alion beach hotel back in July. Can not praise enough reception staff and management of the hotel for the quality of the services they are providing. All members of staff are very helpful and friendly. Hotel is very well managed and managers are always approachable and helping staff during busy times at the restaurants/bar. Hotel was just great to my liking. Not too big, great food and very clean rooms, thanks to the maids who work really hard. The view from the balcony (sea view) was just amazing. Did not have to use air conditioner at nights, so just left the balcony doors opened and was asleep with the sound of the sea waves. The location and the fact that it is so close to the sea beach also was a benefit for me. Each room was allocated with sun beds which you can choose on arrival and change it throughout your stay if needed, so no sun bed wars and worries that you may not have one if you come down a bit later than other guests...Ladies from the reception helped me to book couple of amazing tour adventures which were not available through my tour operator, and I did not see it on line either. So if you are interested in visiting Donkey farm to have loads of fun with vine, dinner and dancing in the evening, or want a calming mini cruise on the catamaran watching sunset, please ask reception ladies. It is probably not the most modern hotel in Ayia Napa but it is very cosy and well kept little gem. If Im going back to Cyprus again, that will be my place to stay there again and again.

Alion is a very good hotel overall. Positives: the assigned tables and sun lounges with the umbrella in front of the beach were amazing. The beach is very beautiful, the buffet is very good, breakfast is good. Very clean and some friendly staff. We loved the happy hours for cocktails! Live music is nice, we remember at least 3 very good bands. Negatives: the head waiter was very rude and was complaining all the time about my baby crawling, and he would keep going even after the manager told him several times that it was ok. The rooms are not very beautiful (but they will be renovated next year). The iPanema restaurant was HORRIFIC they claim their food is from Peru and they serve Asian dishes (???) and the taste was very very bad and expensive. The lunch restaurant has some good and bad dishes (stay away from the Japanese bowl, fried calamari and the tuna salad). They don’t have any playground for kids. In the welcome and honeymoon package they offer some fruits sweets and wine. We found that sparkling wine in the supermarket in front of the hotel for 2,99€ which is ridiculous for a 5 star hotel. And is the same that they offer at breakfast.

Very nice hotel, Luxury without being snobby. Well renovated and maintained. Very good drinks and food. They put special emphasis on sustainability and feature local foods in their menus which is awesome. Close to everything but still very quiet. Would definitely come back!
